The Many Faces of Tea - Part 1 is a self-initiated illustration project inspired by the article "The Many Faces of Tea" by Will Battle, published in Eighty Degrees Magazine. The article serves as an accessible introduction to the world of tea for beginners, highlighting its six main types: black, green, white, oolong, yellow, and dark tea.

These illustrations are part of a series of editorial artworks I created to explore tea culture in a visually engaging way.
The world of tea can seem intimidating and complex, for those who begin to delve into the subject, so I aimed for my illustrations to make these differences clearer and more approachable.
Tea plant (Camellia sinensis)
Despite originating from the same plant, Camellia sinensis, these teas undergo different processing methods, resulting in their unique characteristics.
