Hello! I’m Jimi Serra, a freelance illustrator based in Lisbon, Portugal.
My professional work primarily focuses on editorial and publishing illustration. With a passion for drawing and visual storytelling, I use mixed media and hand-drawn digital techniques.
I have a keen attention to detail and a curious spirit, which drives me to explore a wide range of subjects, including nature, science, literature, lifestyle, and tea culture. I am also deeply interested in environmental issues, such as species extinction and climate change, and I strive to incorporate these themes into my work whenever possible. I love the challenge of creating visual solutions that communicate complex ideas in a creative and impactful way.
My series The Art of Tea: Tradition, Taste, and Time received an Honorable Mention in the 3x3 International Illustration Annual No. 22 (Professional Show, 2025). I was also featured by @AdobeLive on Instagram to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Photoshop (February 20, 2025).
